It's ok to be over today and it only be noon

11:10 AM

It's ok to leave the laundry unfolded in a pile on the guest room bed. Even if your husband doesn't think so. Life goes on.

It's ok to be over today and it only be noon. Sometimes it's better if we just chalk it up to a day we tried and it didn't go so well. We'll do better tomorrow.

It's ok to have bad days. That doesn't mean you don't appreciate all you have and are a happy person. It takes the bad days to appreciate the good.  It takes the bad to make you a whole person. Life would be dull if you were ALWAYS happy and ALWAYS positive. Some days life sucks.

It's ok to be sick of dishes. Paper plates sometimes are our friends.

It's ok to wish "for the love of God to please go to sleep before I lose my mind". But at the same time savor the moment of rocking with them while they try and go to sleep because there will be a day when they won't rock with you anymore.

It's ok to not want to rock them though. Sometimes you just wish and want 5 minutes of no one talking, crying or touching you.

It's ok to not enjoy keeping every detail of your family's life in order. Look at your flipping phone calendar if you want to know for the 10th time what day and time the doctor appointment for baby is!

It's ok to not want to work out. Sometimes carrying groceries into the house is my weight training for the day.

No matter what remember there is always tomorrow. Remember to take 2 minutes to kiss baby goodnight right before you go to bed; it will be your favorite moment to look at her and thank God for giving her to you. Remember it means the world that you showed up today to be her mom....that the little gummy smile she gives when you walk into the room is her saying I love you. Remember to take 5 extra minutes for yourself; to read 2 pages of a book you've been working on for 2 months, to take a bath, to stare into space and breath. Remember you are gorgeous and amazing and loved.
